When it comes to mining, digitalisation is a fundamental condition for maintaining a good work environment. Being connected makes it possible to work with positioning in order to guarantee safety, for example in the event of an evacuation.
Historically, solving network access at temporary working sites have been hard. Thanks to our experience with making temporary installations in challenging environments we have been able to solve the problem. With battery powered, portable units it is now possible to get a full connection at these hard-to-reach spots within half an hour. It used to take two full days. Our collaboration with Boliden is continuous.
