Hack for Sweden is a yearly hackathon, an innovation competition, that since 2014 have been organized with the objective to benefit the use of data from open data sources. The event has grown through the years and contributes today with creating connections between over 100 public and private actors.
For several years TPO have delivered a fast and reliable network which lets the participants realize their visions in full. For us, the main challenge has been that the event has been organized at venues with technical and logistical weaknesses. As the event has grown, so have the demands for bandwidth and IT security. TPO have been on site with a core team of 3-4 specialists in order to build the network and monitor its functionality. For us, it is satisfying to contribute to the core idea of the event which is developing the Swedish society.
